A must have for car trips Apr 25, 1999 Music always makes the car ride more tolerable - but this CD is number 1 in our collection. My 14 month old daughter giggles, imitates, and claps along. Mr. Orozco knows how to make the most simple of messages fun!

A Favorite in Any Language! May 03, 2001
By K. St Clair

This is a great album no matter what your language. Songs are upbeat and very catchy. I love them all, which is fortunate because these are the kind of songs that get stuck in your head and stay with you long after the music stops. You will baila baila baila all day long! Some of the songs are quite repititious-- I find this wonderful for learning the songs and the language but it does sometimes get on my husband's nerves. If you don't know Spanish I highly reccommend getting the book as well to explain the songs, but once you know what they are saying it's a great way to learn some Spanish and have fun while you're doing it.

All time favorite May 05, 2003 We sing the songs as much as our kids who are 2 and 5 years old. The songs are fun, easy to understand, and educational. Wait - let me emphasize the fun part again! A must for your collection of kids music.

Get the songbook, too. Mar 06, 2006
By Tom_McT My two-year old loves this CD and the CD "De Colores". She can sing several of the songs and constantly asks "How do you say in Spanish?" Unless you happen to know these songs, lyrics, and the hand gestures, you should also get the accompanying songbook. This CD does not contain lyrics or info about how to do the hand gestures on these songs. The songbook has the most beautiful illustrations of any children's book, as well as the translations, and hand gestures.

Hot tamale - a must have! Mar 20, 2008
By Hope Livingston I am so grateful to the friend who introduced us to the world of Spanish music for children by Jose-Luis Orozco. He is fabulous. The music is very clever - it at once is catchy and fun for the kids while teaching them language basics (unlike some of the horrible CDs put out by less imaginative sources). We bought both of his CDs and the music books that accompany them - it is helpful to see the words (they do not come with this CD, you must purchase the books separately). The books are also well worth the money (although some of the English translations are truly laughable). I cannot recommend this product highly enough to the parent or teacher who wants to bring the zest and warmth of the Latin American musical spirit into their home. Because of these CDs I am able to more easily teach my child Spanish, she naturally learns the songs and sings along and I use this as a foundation to speak with her and describe the meanings to her.
